Hello,
Its Sam from SB Creatives Photography here, Welcome back to 2026!
It was a real honour to photograph Chanie and Moshe’s engagement at Central Synagogue, an evening that brought together love, family, food, and community in the most natural and meaningful way. From the moment guests walked in, there was a palpable sense of warmth and genuine simcha, the kind that doesn’t need to be staged or forced — it simply exists in the room. As a photographer, these are the moments that matter most, where emotions unfold organically and every frame tells part of a larger story.
The synagogue itself provided a beautiful and grounding backdrop for the celebration. Its familiar spaces, filled with friends, family, and community members, gave the evening a sense of continuity and connection, reminding everyone that this engagement wasn’t just about two people, but about the families and communities that have shaped them and will continue to support them going forward.
Moshe, who is based in Melbourne, is well known as an event coordinator and the driving force behind Events by Moe. For this engagement, he also took on the catering, and his experience was evident in every detail. The evening flowed seamlessly, with everything running smoothly and effortlessly, allowing Chanie and Moshe — and their guests — to truly be present and enjoy the celebration without distraction. It was clear that this wasn’t just a job for Moshe, but a deeply personal labour of love.
Adding another special layer to the night, Chanie’s family owns an Italian catering and restaurant background, and their passion for food and hospitality was felt throughout the event. The food wasn’t just something to eat between conversations; it became part of the experience itself. Guests lingered, shared stories, laughed, and connected over beautifully prepared dishes, creating an atmosphere that felt intimate, relaxed, and genuinely joyful.
The creative team played a big role in capturing the spirit of the evening from every angle. Magnetic Shots brought an extra element of fun with their photobooth, giving guests a chance to let loose and take home playful keepsakes from the night. Alongside this, Ronen’s videography captured the emotion, movement, and energy of the celebration, preserving the laughter, speeches, and quiet in-between moments in a way that complements still photography beautifully.
Throughout the night, there were countless moments worth remembering — heartfelt hugs between family members, shared laughter among friends, and the subtle, meaningful glances between Chanie and Moshe that spoke volumes about their connection. It was a celebration rooted in tradition, elevated by creativity, and filled with genuine emotion.
Mazel Tov to this beautiful couple. May your life together be filled with love, joy, good health, and many more celebrations surrounded by family, friends, and community.
Until Next Time...
