AUJS Puzza 2025 was an unforgettable event that had an electric energy from start to finish. This year’s gathering at the Beach Road Hotel was all about simplicity with a twist—no extravagant decorations, just dynamic LED lighting, a pool table, a DJ set, and an open space for dancing. As the photographer for the night, I had the privilege of documenting the raw energy of the evening, and let me tell you—it was something special.


The theme may have been more minimalist this year, but the vibe was anything but. The LED lighting set the tone for the night, transforming the venue with vibrant colours that pulsed along to the music. Shades of blues, purples, and greens illuminated the space, casting a cool glow over the crowd as they mingled, played pool, and danced.


The lighting gave the venue a high-energy club feel, but it was the people who really brought the night to life. The atmosphere was relaxed yet full of excitement, and it was clear that everyone was there to have a great time with friends and meet new ones.


The heart of the event was definitely the DJ set. As the beats dropped, the crowd’s energy seemed to rise with the music. People couldn’t resist the pull of the dance floor, and soon the space was filled with dancers, all moving to the rhythm of the night.


For a photographer, this was an absolute dream. The movement, the expressions, the spontaneous moments—everything I wanted to capture was right there in front of me. From the high-fives to the laughter and the carefree dancing, there was a sense of freedom in the air that made every shot feel alive.


Not everyone was on the dance floor, though. The pool table was the perfect spot for those who wanted to take a break from the dancing or just enjoy some friendly competition. With a group of friends gathered around, the game created a laid-back yet lively atmosphere, adding another layer to the evening’s energy. Whether it was a casual game or a challenge to see who could land the perfect shot, the pool table was a great way for guests to engage with one another and have some fun away from the crowd.


As always, it’s the candid moments that make event photography so special. There were so many connections being made throughout the night, and those genuine, unposed moments are what I love capturing the most. Whether it was someone taking a playful shot at the pool table or a group of friends laughing together under the LED lights, these are the moments that tell the true story of an event.


I made sure to capture all of the spontaneous interactions—people deep in conversation, laughing at something funny, or simply enjoying each other’s company. These genuine moments are what bring the photos to life and make them meaningful long after the event is over.


As the night came to a close, I looked back at the photos I had taken, and it was clear that this year’s AUJS Puzza was an absolute success. It wasn’t about fancy decorations or extravagant setups—it was about the people, the music, and the energy that filled the space. The LED lights, pool table, DJ set, and dancing all came together to create an experience that will live on in the memories of those who attended.


For me, as a photographer, it was a night full of high-energy moments and beautiful connections. The simplicity of the event only enhanced the focus on the most important thing: the people. And in the end, that’s what made the night truly unforgettable.
