On the 9th of June, 2024, I had the pleasure of photographing Dassi and Daniel's engagement party, a night filled with love, laughter, and endless celebration. Set in a beautiful venue, the evening was a perfect blend of elegance and fun, thanks to the impeccable arrangements by Millies Catering and the energetic vibe brought in by Eastside Bartending. 

The venue was beautifully decorated, setting a romantic and festive atmosphere right from the start. Soft, twinkling lights and elegant floral arrangements created a magical backdrop for the evening. As a photographer, capturing the ambiance was crucial to tell the story of this special night.

Dassi and Daniel radiated happiness. Their love for each other was palpable and made for some truly heartfelt shots. From candid moments of them laughing together to intimate close-ups during speeches, each photo captured the essence of their relationship.

Millies did an exceptional job with the catering. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Capturing the intricately plated dishes and the delighted expressions of guests as they enjoyed the meal added a mouth-watering visual element to the photo collection. 

Eastside Bartending kept the drinks flowing and the energy high. The bartenders were not only skilled but also brought an element of entertainment with their flair and mixology skills. The cocktails, with their vibrant colours and creative garnishes, made for some dynamic action shots.

The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the dancing. As the music filled the air, the dance floor came alive with guests showing off their best moves. Capturing the joyous expressions and spontaneous dance-offs was exhilarating. Each photograph from the dance floor tells a story of its own – a story of pure joy and celebration.

My goal was to capture the essence of Dassi and Daniel's engagement party, and I believe the photos do just that. From the candid moments to the carefully composed shots, each image is a piece of the puzzle that, when put together, tells the beautiful story of their special night.
